Software QA Manager 

Summary: 
This Software Quality Assurance Manager will be part of the team responsible for testing NetSuite's cloud-based ERP/CRM/Ecommerce application. This Manager will oversee the QA for one or more product teams, as well as be a hands-on contributor to one team.

Responsibilities: 
Management responsibilities will include hiring, training, and retaining top-tier quality engineers; managing day-to-day QA operations; ensuring that the product areas have extensive continuous automated test coverage; and ensuring that software is defined, developed, and delivered on time with all promised functionality. The Manager will possess strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills. They will encourage feedback and build trust with the development and product management teams. 

The Manager will be a bright, articulate, and accomplished problem solver, capable of troubleshooting complex software application problems. They will provide recommendations on corrective actions to resolve product and customer problems, as well as take preventative action to avoid future problems. 

In addition, the Manager will write test plans for new product features, implement automated tests, report software defects, reproduce problems reported by customers, and verify software defect fixes from development.

Qualifications/Skills:
B.S. in computer science, engineering or equivalent
Experience leading high-performance QA teams
Extensive hands-on experience in software QA, with modern QA tools and methodologies, especially in web-based User Interfaces
Extensive experience with automated test development
Superior communication skills in English 
Excellent team-building and interpersonal skills and ability to effectively build consensus
Ability to efficiently handle multiple, simultaneous projects
Strong Java programming skills
Solid understanding of SQL
Experience with HTML and Javascript
Experience working with business application software (preferred)
