Functional Analyst
Responsibilities
Tavano is looking for an exceptional, self-directed Senior Business Analyst. You will be responsible for platform features that can be built and delivered using the SuiteCloud Platform APIs, working with our Professional Services team. As a NetSuite Senior Product/ Analyst your responsibilities will include understanding customer and developer needs, gathering requirements, managing feature backlogs, and working with world-class teams to deliver these features. To be successful in this role, you will need a solid understanding of programming concepts, customization and integration tools, and design and development of quality products.
Deeply understand the needs of current and target customers and developers through quantitative and qualitative research..
Proactively conceive, document and drive the creation of new solutions. Create use cases, user stories, and detailed product requirements that clearly articulate desired product functionality.
Collaborate with Development, QA, Doc, and UI and the rest of the team to deliver great products to our customers.
Requirements
At least 5+ years relevant working experience in either technical product management, product development or technical professional services. A solid understanding of the product development lifecycle and product management processes, including agile and scrum.
Previous programming/ developer experience using Java as a programming tool/ language is preferred.
Familiarity with customization, integration and developer tools. Experience building web-based applications. JavaScript or other scripting language experience is preferred.
Ability to make recommendations and decisions independently, to sell ideas to management and make convincing arguments for the direction of the products.
Passion for and ability to understand customer and developer needs and deliver great solutions with exceptional user experience.
Strong organizational skills: task prioritization, effective time management, meeting facilitation.
Excellent communication and cross-functional teamwork skills.
Computer Science or similar degree.
